The entrance to Vancouver’s Stanley Park from the south is lined with cherry trees. I was fortunate to have seen them in full bloom just before the first day of spring. The most spectacular were the kwanzan cherries whose fluffy pink blossoms cover the entire tree crown. Also heavy with flowers were the tulip magnolias.

I see water Colors WOW you certainly did see blossoms how lovely they are. We never made it there when they were so glorious. I have been in Washington DC on a school trip we all were
in awe but these are much better. Of course it takes a fine photographer also.

Thank you, Shay. We were very impressed with the cherry blossoms. The flowering magnolias were equally showy.
