After we got gas from Costco in Bellingham (on our way to British Columbia), we decided to have lunch in town since we wouldn’t be in Whistler until later in the afternoon. Our intention was to get a quick bite at Denny’s before driving on, but as we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed a sandwich board for Thai House in the same strip mall. We decided to go there instead and we’re glad we did because the food here was first-rate, very well prepared and tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu: Thai Angel (a Thai version of Singapore Noodles) and a basil fried rice special with sweet pork and coconut wontons, both very good. I think we’ll stop here every time when we get gas in Bellingham, a very pleasant surprise in a sea of franchises.
